Take Your Son To The Park
And when I say take him to the park, I don’t mean take him to the park and leave him there to play with the other children while you ogle the moms. You have to be more involved in your son’s activities if you wish for him to grow up nice and emotionally stable. You can play some football together; fly kites; push him on the swing set; play catch or anything else that father and son usually do together.
Take Your Son Camping
It is never too soon to teach your child about nature. I am sure that the kid will be more than interested about learning all about the different kinds of herbs, trees, animals, mushroom etc. that can be found in the woods. Show him how to pitch a tent; start a fire and all basic survival skills that might come useful one day. Even if the lesson is not practice, the bonding you guys did that day will last for a lifetime!
Take Your Son To An Amusement Park
Even though it is not really a ‘father-son’ activity, taking your son to the park will show that you really care about his recreational needs. I mean the kid will thank you all the way there, if not afterwards as well! Buy the kid some cotton candy; win amazing prices; ride the rides! It is as simple as that. Don’t worry about your son being too ‘fragile’ to ride some of the ‘big boy’ rides. Encourage your son to be more brave and don’t by all means yell at him if he starts crying or soils himself.
Take Your Son To A Football Derby
Undoubtedly you have a team which you hold above all others. Why not instill the passion for this ancient sport onto the minds of the next generation of football enthusiasts. The boy might learn a little bit about rough-housing if the match does not go good for your team. Buy him a scarf and a t-shirt – trust me, he will show his gear to all his little friends once he is back home.
Take Your Son Fishing
It is an all time tradition – taking your son fishing. The art of fishing incorporates within its core the fine basics of patience, tenacity and perseverance. If your child does not feel comfortable of using life bait, you can always substitute with bread, corn etc. Just make sure to pack a lot of food, and best warn mom that you are coming home with a whole lot of fish – so she better crank up the old fryer.
