Apple has done it again with the release of the all new Apple iPad called the iPad Air and the iPad Mini 2. As the name suggests, Apple has made the iPad Air as light as it could get and they found themselves end up with more refined product than a reinvented one.
The new iPad is much lighter but at the same time has the all the advanced and useful features that are expected from a high end tablet. The internals have been retrofitted with better options and the upgraded accessories have made it worth the penny.
For the first look, this slim and light machine is so thrifty that users are concerned that it may just start floating off the table. The iPad Air is 20% thinner than the iPad 4, measuring 7.5mm in thickness. The speakers are finely fixed into the bottom of the piece making it look like a really thrilling machine however, the volume and power button have been made the same as its predecessors.
The interesting thing about this tablet is that it supports a staggering 64-bit A7 CPU which migrated from the iPhone 5s and in addition comes the M7 motion co processor. With all this working in harmony, this should give the machine a boost in raw speed. And with the extra power going into the strong processors, the battery life is still claimed to be the usual 10 hours that the iPad has always offered.
The 9.7 inch screen has an astonishing bright Retina Display but it doesn’t have as much as an upgrade as most people hoped for. For example, there was a rumor about the finger print scanner built in the home button like in the new iPhone 5s, but perhaps Apple is still testing to see what happens to the new technology introduced in the phones.
The services support 4G LTE and many were told that this tablet supports more LTE bands than any other tablet. Moreover, the camera is also capable of making full-HD videos with the 5MP still camera and the front camera is also able to make 720p videos; so Skype and other video-calling software will be a pleasure to use.
And to bring the iPad market back into its place, the people at Apple have also started the new trend of changing colors. Similar to the iPhone 5s, the iPad Air also comes in the smart black and Space Grey color as well in addition to the traditional White and Silver colors offered. So now when you pick up the iPad, it’s certainly more attractive and noticeable to the eyes.
