The updated version has seemed to focus on the performance improvements a lot, which means there is triple buffering, the touch latency has been reduced, Bluetooth Smart Support has been added and the CPU input boost has made things run all the much faster. Moreover, it also supports a newer version for Project Butter which runs smoother than ever. Other than all these performance tweaks, the OS also includes app updates, like the Camera app, the new keyboard and the notifications have been improved in this version.
The notification bar has been expanded and improved and now instead of opening different apps like the calendar and contacts app form the notification bar, you can get the options embedded inside the screen so it saves you the headache of opening multiple apps at a time.
So if you’re wondering whether to download the update or not, well, Google has done a great job in pimping the operating system for maximum performance and to be honest, things do work really well with this version. You’d be able to get things done a lot quicker than with the previous versions, eve n though you might not see a lot of wholesale changes at first.
